Forty One

“For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.…” Psalms 139:13-14

A quarter before twelve in the midnight and I expect everyone to be asleep; but it seems that my body clock has yet to adjust with my erratic schedule. This kind of work requires a getting-used-to sort of thing. It’s been quite awhile that I worked in a graveyard shift, but adjusting my sleeping habit is far from what really takes place in my beautiful life.

Today, yes today, is my forty-first birthday. It may be a coincidence that I have four days off from work (yehey!) and probably a time to celebrate this day with my family. Celebrating your own birthday brings so much gaiety in your heart; not because your friends and family remember you, but because there is so much to be thankful of today especially to God who gave this precious life to us. How do I thank the One who created me? Nothing but only through worship and praises. Just for this time, allow me to count the blessings of my generous Blessor. As Psalms 40:5  says, “Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us; There is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, They would be too numerous to count.”

My dear Father in heaven, I thank thee for . . .

My Family who has always been my source of inspiration and strength. Thank you for giving them to me that I am able to pour out your love and affection towards them. I felt Your hugs and kisses through them. They are truly a joy in my life. Thank you Lord that even when the odds are high and the horizon seem blurred, You gave Your strength and hope to me through my love ones and friends.

Countless Opportunities to share, teach, and inspire other people through your gifts. I am so amazed Lord on how You moved in my life. My heartfelt gratitude for teaching me how to reach out and touch lives and be a messenger of Your Love. Continue to work through me Lord; this life is yours forevermore.

The Rest and peace that is beyond my understanding. Thank you Father for calming the storm . . . for taking all my burdens . . . and for carrying me when I felt so tired and drained. Thank you for renewing my strength and healing my wounded heart . . . I praise you Lord for saving me and for protecting me. You will always be my shield and with You, I will never be afraid.

The Gift of Time. . time to live in this world . . . time to serve . . . time to work . . . time to laugh . .  . time to encourage someone . . . time to praise . . . time to give . . . time to study your Word . . . time in everything Lord . . . those precious TIME meant for You alone and also for the moments that I was captivated by your wondrous work. I thank thee, Father.

Years of Health for me and my family. You, oh Lord is my Greatest Healer. Every cell, every tissue, every part of my body shall bow in Your name, Jesus. I hold on to your promise Lord, that indeed, I am healed and shall remain healthy all the days of my life.

Overwhelming Power that makes the impossible possible. There were countless times Lord that you have showed that power in my life and I am always left in awe. I give you all the glory! Thank you for the MIRACLES you performed; thank you.

Never-ending Goodness that surrounds me. Thank you for Your grace oh God. Your goodness . . . Your faithfulness . . . is just indescribable. No words could exactly fit, Lord. I choose to dwell in your presence Lord, for your goodness and mercy shall follow me ALL the days of my life.

Everlasting Love . . . Amazing love . . . Agape love . . . I am nothing without it Lord; for that I worship you. Thank you for the LOVE that conquered all and which has undeniably saved me. Thank you for not giving up on me Lord . . . Thank you for your LOVE that NEVER FAILS.
